Alongside building models, I’ve spent four years in the Lick-Wilmerding architecture program creating hand-drawn studies of existing buildings and my own original designs. Each drawing begins as a quick sketch and evolves through numerous refinements into a final composition that can take up to twenty hours to complete.
For me, drawing is more than representation; it is a process of discovery and problem-solving. Each line is a decision about structure, light, and space—an experiment in how design can shape experience and improve how people live.
Below are a few of my favorite studies.
